EG Browser Training

Step 1. Please make sure you have successfully installed all of the required softwares (Windows installer, Windows imaging component, .Net framework, SMCyber Utilities) and extracted the EG Browser, you will see files as given below. (Exe file has been highlighted).

Step 2. Double Click the icon to open the EG Browser. This will open up the login screen. Enter your EG id and password (given by SMCyber), as shown below:

(Note: Enter user id in capital letters. Password is Case-Sensitive.)

Step 3. After successful login, you will see the main screen of software, as shown below:

Step 4. To get started, just enter the starting and ending link numbers on the extreme top left of the main screen,(default 1 to 5), as shown below:

Step 5.  Select the page number (1-15) on which you want to work, (default page no 1):

Step 6. Then go to blue EG menu and Click Open Tabs (this will open all the mentioned tabs on just one click).

Step 7. Wait until the pages have been loaded completely (else the software may hang up), then click the Enter Data in EJ menu (this will automatically enter data and also click the Next button on each tab).

Step 8. After confirmation you will see the screen to enter Captcha code. You will have to manually enter the captcha code here.  But Don’t use the captcha given above the Submit button, instead press the REFRESH button on left (this will load a new captcha above the button). After the new captcha is re-loaded (on the left side of software), enter this captcha in the text field and then click the Submit button (this will take you to the verification page).

Step 9. Once the verification page loads, go to EJ menu again and Click the Verification button (this will take you to the reporting screen).

Step 10. Once you reach the reporting screen, go to EJ menu again and Click the Reporting button (this will automatically generate report of all the opened tabs on just one click). You will see another screen (as shown below).

Step 11. To see where the report have been generated, go to red Reporting menu and click Open Folder (this will open a folder containing your report).

Step 12. Your report will be created with the name DataEntryReport.txt. Double click the report file to open it. You will see that your name and user id has automatically been entered in the report. Also you don’t need to manually change the date for every entry. software will automatically pick the current system date and will generate the report accordingly.

Step 13. Next go to Reporting menu and click Close All Tabs (this will close all the opened tabs and will take you to the main link page).

Step 14. Now just change the starting and ending tab number (e.g 6 to 10) and repeat from step 5 onward.

Step 15. If you have completed 100 entries on a page then you must change the page number and then again start from entry no 1 and repeat from step 4 onward.
Note: You can write maximum 100 in the ending link number.

Changing Link:
Step 16. After you have completed 1500 entries, you will need to change the link. Click Open Report (this will open a folder). Open the Assignment.txt file. This file contains all of your assignment details.

Step 17. Now change the existing link with the new one and Save the changes.

(Note: This is the main Data Entry link given at the end of your EarningGlob account’s homepage. e.g Bloosums, SAPPHIRE etc)

Step 18. Restart the software or just press the Close All Tabs menu button.

Changing Assignment Data:
Step 19. Open the Assignment.txt file (as explained in Step 16).

Step 20. [ASSIGNMENT_NO]: You can replace the existing assignment number with new assignment number.

Step 21. [SUBJECT]: You can copy the new complete subject from EarningGlob account’s homepage and then paste in the file (as shown below).

(Note: Software will automatically insert your id. Don’t enter your own EG id number in the subject, otherwise the software will not start.)

Step 22. [BODY]: Replace the existing message with the new one.
(Note: The message body is right beneath the subject line so Don’t copy the subject line in the body.)

Step 23. Restart the software or just press the Close All Tabs menu button.
