Report Verification Tools

Following article will tell you about how to use the simple report verification by giving an example of CyberOnlineJobs. Other companies have almost the same criteria.

Step 1. Once you have completed your report, you can click Verify Report (Simple) button.

 

Step 2. If there are no errors in the report then the software will display the msg “The Reporting file is correct” (as shown below).

Step 3. If the report contain errors then the software will display those errors. Report verification will detect following errors:

• Duplicate URL’s
• Duplicate Forum Numbers
• Missing Forum Numbers

Step 4. Report verification Errors:

This report contains all of the errors. Now we will explain how to remove these errors step by step.

Step 5. Open the report and find the required forum number.

a) You can use the Find text feature of notepad by pressing Ctrl+F or by going to Edit > Find… (as shown below):

b) Enter the forum number which you want to search (as shown below):

Duplicate Urls:

Step 6. Go to duplicate entries in report (as explained in step 5) and Delete the duplicate entries. As shown in Step 4, there were two duplicate url’s at forum no 10. So you will have to delete these entries.

Duplicate Forums:

Step 7. Go to duplicate forum number in report (as explained in step 5) and Delete or Correct the duplicate forum numbers.

Missing Forums:

Step 8. Missing forums will have to be re-posted again. You can do it manually or by software. If you are re-posting entry through software then the new entry will be saved at the end of report. You will need to Cut this entry and place it at correct location in the report.

Step 9. If all the errors have been removed then the software will show “Reporting file is correct” as shown in step 2.
